Castleisland Community games had another successful Munster finals at the weekend, this year the munster finals were held in he new campus at I.T Tralee and four teams travelled in for us, first up were the u13 boys who had a great win over Cork to set up a final spot with Clare, here again the boys lead from the start and ran out winners 30-8.

In the U13 girls we met Tipperary in the semi final where all the girls played great to book their final spot, here they met Cobh if Cork where again the Castleisland team were the stronger and won 32-9.Next up were the U11s, in the semi finals we met Cobh of Cork and the Castleisland team set down their marker early as they also wanted to make the finals, in the final they met Clare where from the start Castleisland were the stronger of the two teams and ran out winners 25-5.Last up on the day were our U16 girls, they played Clare in the semi final and while it was close at time the girls always kept ahead to join the other three Castleisland teams in a final, here they were up against Cork again and they was definitely a tougher game than earlier, the Castleisland girls took the early lead but Cork were not going to let it go and fought back, with 2 minutes to go there was only four points in it but the Castleisland girls dig deep to win 30-23.
