Multi Sports Coaching Course: Want to be a Sports Coach?

New and exciting Multi Sports Coaching Course: Community Volunteering Coaching programme to be delivered in Tralee this coming Month.

The Community Coaching Programme is a joint programme initiative between Kerry Recreation Sports Partnership & NEWkd. The Programme is funded by the Dormant Accounts and supported by SICAP NEWKD.

This course will provide participants with practical and theoretical sport-related skills and help them find relevant work or work experience in their local community.

This Free Training Programme is open to all individuals over the age of 18yrs. It would ideally suit those wishing to further develop themselves as coaches, mentors ,leaders or those living in disadvantaged areas and would like to give back to their communities, But may also suit those who always wanted to get involved in their local sports clubs or community .


Trainee Coaches:

– Must have an interest in sport coaching.

– Be willing to participate in a 10 week program for two days a week, 9.30am to 3.30pm every Tuesday & Thursday taking place in the Tralee area. Starting on the 14th of May 2019. Full attendance is compulsory.  Job placement is included and Garda Vetting will apply.

All successful trainee coaches will achieve a number of introductory level coaching qualifications as outlined on the posters and PR piece.

All of the graduates will get to assist Kerry RSP in delivering projects county wide over the coming months and work carried out by NEWD .
