A young Glenflesk Show Jumper is heading for stardom along with his horse “Dreamer of Casheleane”, aka “Tommy”.
13 year old Caden O’Donoghue is an exceptional rider and performer who has acomplished in just one year what other kids just aim or deam for.
His coach and trainer Claudia Vallverdú Felip has international experience as a grand prix rider (Dressage, and 1’35m showjumping) around the world including countries such as the USA, France and Germany and trained by Olympic riders is helping and ensuring that every member of her team boost up to any podium.
Caden has won over 55 rosettes, cups, medals, leagues and trophies in less than a yea and is actually competing at 1’00m classes training up for a very near 1’10 competitor soon.
With their sights set on joining the Irish team in the future, Claudia Vallverdú Felip also trains Leah Clarke and Jessica Fuller who along with Caden have raised over 100 prizes and rosettes in one year.
Caden is certainly a prodigy to be on the lookout for in the coming years.
“As Kerry athletes are rising up in all sports, Caden can be considered Kerry’s pride” his trainer Claudia told the Killarney Outlook.
“He is a hard worker who has never let me down and will never do so as his wins are my wins, and his happiness is my pride”, she added
