The 7th Ring of the Reeks Cycle will take place on Saturday, 27th July from Beaufort G.A.A. Club.
There will be four routes this year.
Cycle 1 is a 100km Ring of the Reeks challenge route. It is a loop route of Ireland’s highest mountains-the McGillycuddy Reeks and suitable for intermediate to experienced cyclists.
Cycle 2 is a 60km Caragh Lake loop cycle route taking in some of the most scenic landscape in the area.
There is also a 35km Ring of Beaufort and a 5km family cycle..
Start time for Ring of the Reeks will be 9am. Start time for Caragh Lake Loop and Ring of Beaufort cycles will start at 11am. The 5km cycle will start at 11.30am.
After cycles food and refreshments at Beaufort Community Centre.
This is a Cycling Ireland approved event. All Under 16s must be accompanied by an Adult and are restricted to the 60 km route or less. Under 12s are restricted to the 5km route.
Registration is online at www.ringofthereekscycle.com and also in Beaufort G.A.A. Clubrooms on morning of cycle from 8am for Ring of the Reeks cycle and 10.00 am for other cycles.
Everybody must sign in on the morning.
